Our 8:45 a.m. Schola Cantorum provides music for not only our parish but those who view the Mass through CCTN.
Our 10:30 Choir sings at the 10:30 a.m. Mass every Sunday, for special liturgical feasts and events including Lessons and Carols, Christmas Midnight Mass, Holy Week, Taize prayer services, and serves as the core choir for special concerts. We rehearse every Thursday evening in the choir room from 7-9 p.m. We sing a broad range of musical styles from chant to classical to traditional to contemporary. The choir is open from high school through adult.
Most Filipinos have a strong devotion to the Sacred Heart. They show their love and devotion through the Celebration of the Eucharist on the First Friday of each month at 7 p.m. The Filipino Choir of Holy Family Catholic Church provide music during the mass in Tagalog, the national language of the Philippines.
Our Contemporary Choir combines their voices and a dynamic rhythm section in musical praise and worship. In addition to Sunday Mass, our 10:30 Choir serve as the core ensemble for special liturgies, solemnities and sacred concerts.
Sunday, 5 p.m. Mass Contemporary Choir: This group is for those of high-school age and older. Ignite Band: This group plays at Catholic Youth Ministry’s Ignite events, youth retreats and other occasions. Adults who are part of this ministry will have to meet diocesan requirements for serving youth. Contact the youth office at 407-876-0057 for an audition date.
