St. Vincent de Paul
One of the oldest charitable organizations in the world, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization with over 700,000 men and women throughout the world who together voluntarily join each other to grow spiritually and offer person to person service to the needy and suffering throughout the world.
At Holy Family Conference, our Vincentians witness God’s love through a variety of services and activities. The Food Pantry ministry provides emergency food, person to person fellowship and guidance, home visits, clothing, furniture, school shoes and referrals to local social services.
Through our ministry outreach we provide Thanksgiving Food Dinners, Jesse Tree Christmas toys for children and Soles for Kids school shoes.
Vincentians have fun together too; the Fall Walk for the Poor is our annual community fund raising event which is a fun family activity held at Bill Frederick Park. In addition, the Souper Bowl of Caring is a successful parish food drive that helps off set the cost of buying food for our ministry.
Our Holy Family St. Vincent de Paul ministry sees the face of Christ in everyone we serve. If God is calling you to grow in holiness through serving others and fellowship, consider making a commitment and share your time, talent and treasure. Vincentians work tirelessly to alleviate the hunger and suffering of those in our community.
All donations help us to grow our ministry and to serve the poor.
