Capital Campaign Conclusion

Congratulations on an incredible celebration of our 50th Anniversary! It was truly moving and inspiring to reflect on the different stages of our parish history and how they have touched the lives of so many who have called Holy Family their spiritual home.

I am deeply grateful for your faith, generosity, and trust as we’ve walked together toward this vision for our parish. That trust has fueled your support for our Bridging the Past, Building the Future Capital Campaign.

Thanks to your incredible commitment, we've successfully brought this vision to life! Your generosity has allowed us to complete several major projects, which have strengthened our physical church and enriched our community's spiritual life.

These projects include:

  • Paying off the debt for the Chapel renovation

  • Building a new residence for the priests

  • Upgrading two parking lots

  • Providing the children at the school with a state-of-the-art athletic field and track

  • Renovating our beautiful sanctuary

That’s a lot to accomplish since my arrival in June 2021, and this would not have been possible without God’s abundant grace and your unwavering support.

Formal Campaign Closing and Next Steps

Having finished celebrating our anniversary and in view of the construction works scheduled for completion by the end of the month, I would like to bring the Capital Campaign to a formal close.

This formal closing marks the final stage: fulfilling the pledges you so generously made. We still depend on these pledged donations to balance the final accounting and ensure every project is fully funded. For that reason, please help us complete this great work by fulfilling your generous commitments.

What this formal close means administratively:

  1. We will no longer actively seek new donations for the campaign but will focus solely on helping you fulfill the pledges you’ve already made.

  2. The weekly envelopes labelled ‘Capital Campaign’ will not be included in the next mailing cycle.

  3. To ensure full transparency and acknowledge your amazing generosity, a more detailed report of the amount collected and what has been spent will be included in a special edition of the bulletin in December, when I deliver the annual State of the Parish address.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you! Thank you for your generosity, prayer, and commitment to Holy Family. You have built more than buildings and structures; you have strengthened the foundation of our faith community and ignited a flame of renewed spirit and hope for generations to come.

May God, who began this good work among us, continue to guide and bless our Holy Family community for the next fifty years and beyond.

Gratefully,

Fr. Martin Nguyen
